Biogas power generation is a new technology of energy comprehensive utilization which integrates environmental protection and energy saving. Biogas originated from anaerobic fermentation of massive industrial and agricultural organic waste (such as alcohol solution, livestock manure, city garbage and sewage) can be transformed into electricity. The residual heat can be reused for the production of biogas thus the comprehensive thermal efficiency can reach more than 80%, much higher than those of general power generators. The economic benefits are quite considerable.
